It really frustrates me when people call other people fat/ugly. What is fat? What is ugly?
The word ‘fat’ to me is really degrading and a horrible term to use. If someone is confident with their image and how they appeal to others, I don’t understand why you would call them fat. It annoys me to no ends when people decide that it’s okay to tease someone on their weight. Come on man, that’s a low blow and a really horrible thing to pin-point. I really really really hate it. I can’t even explain the amount of hate and loss of respect I have for people as shallow as that.
The word ‘ugly’ to me is probably the most ridiculous notion. No one is ugly, everyone is beautiful, either inside or out, or both. It frustrates me to no end when human’s pick on other humans on their appearance. It’s their body, it’s their face, it’s theirs. Why would you pick on something that they were born with. They gained their appearance from their mothers and fathers, it’s something they can’t change. Example: You don’t love a book because the cover is beautiful, you love a book because of the literature that has been conveyed in the book.
Why do we judge so many people on what they look like? We never really get to know people. I understand that is in human nature to judge straight away by someone’s outwards appearance, but I’m starting to think perhaps we need to take a step back and actually acknowledge people that we wouldn’t otherwise talk to because they aren’t our ‘type’ or whatever. I think it’s about self awareness, how would you like it if someone judged you straight off the bat? What if you weren’t a size 8. What if you were a size 18.. you wouldn’t like someone teasing you because of your size, so why do it to others?
